Marden Russets Hockey Club Hosted the inaugural 'Marden Russets Men's Preseason Tournament'. Teams from the local area took part in the afternoons fixtures. 

Pool A - Maidstone 1, Gore Court 1, Marden Russets 1
Pool B - Burnt Ash 1, Gillingham Anchorians 1, Holcombe 2 [3], South Saxsons 1

Russets 0 - 1 Gore Court
Maidstone 0 - 2 Russets

After the round games - All teams in Pool A were on equal points as Maidstone had defeacted Gore Court earlier. Russets went through on Goal Difference.

Russets played Burnt Ash 1, who finished in the top 4 of the league above last year. Both teams provided end to end hockey, as some very fatuiged players put on a heart stopping final.

Ben Errington Scored the winner from a failed PC.
